Client Review
“Sandra is a highly professional therapist who has the ability to put her clients immediately at ease. She is meticulous in taking health information prior to putting together an action plan for each session and she remains a comfortable presence throughout the treatment. Her treatment room is soothing and there is an electric blanket on the couch – the warmth mixed with the stunning fragrance combinations she conjures up is sensational!”

In Clinical Aromatherapy I use therapeutic grade essential oils, often through massage, to address a wide range of conditions. I select the essential oils based on the condition being treated, the chemical properties of the oils in relation to the client before me.

Reflexology

reflexology

Reflexology can be used as a treatment for ill health and many people feel they have benefitted from regular reflexology treatments that reduce or improve their symptoms. Reflexology can also be used to maintain good health, as well as alerting the client to any changes. In addition, reflexology is an excellent means of relaxation. Many of us lead busy, hectic lives that can lead to stress and tension that in turn can lead to ill health.

Sweet Fennel has a beautiful aniseed fragrance and its seeds and bulbs are widely used in cooking. Unsurprisingly is has the reputation of relieving gastric upsets and flatulence. It is also a tonic to the lymph system and encourages the body to eliminate toxins.
In aromatherapy it is used, blended down to treat oedema, cellulite and urinary tract problems

Please note essential oils should ALWAYS be used blended in a carrier oil, lotion or cream and NEVER taken orally. Please contact me for further advice.

Eucalyptus comes from Australia, and most of us are familiar with the smell, but did you know there are many types, each with their own set of actions? Eucalyptus radiata has a sweet smell and is excellent for inhalations when suffering from sinusitis and rhinitis and it's around 71% 1,8 cineole which is the 'breathing' molecule. Eucalyptus staigeriana however only has about 6% of 1,8 cineole but has lots of alcohols and aldehydes which are pain relieving, so good for chronic pain
